Deborah Sampson $100,000+

Sharon native and American Revolutionary War hero who disguised herself as a man so she could could join the war effort.

Paul Revere $50,000 – $99,999
Forged the bells for Sharon’s Unitarian and Congregational Churches, and fought for Deborah Sampson to receive a military pension.

Leonard Bernstein $25,000 – $49,999
Composer and conductor who spent his summers in Sharon.

Henry W. Kendall $10,000 – $24,999
Physicist and Nobel Laureate who grew up in Sharon.

John James Audubon $5,000 – 9,999
Namesake of Massachusetts Audubon sanctuaries, the first of which was in Sharon.

Sarah Palfrey Cooke $2,500 – $4,999
1930s and 1940s U.S. and Wimbledon champion who hailed from Sharon.
