Scenario C: Reduction Greater Than Feasibility Study Size
A total reduction of approximately 4,772 sq ft compared to the allowable less than 1,816 from the above-ground floors would be necessary in order to meet the zoning regulation of 25% maximum lot coverage. MBLC grants are awarded based on the grant application. Any reduction in the square footage of programmatic elements as defined in the grant application would nullify the contract. A reduction to satisfy the Sharon zoning regulation would result in a loss of the grant. Therefore, this regulation is not reasonable for the library project and may not be applied per state law (Dover Amendment.)
